Design
As a 'green' landscaping company since 2001, we focus on eco-friendly design. Here are a few of our specialties.
Rethinking your lawn
It’s not just about changing the appearance of your yard. Eliminating or reducing the size of your lawn will immediately cut costs and save time. No mowing or edging, less water usage, less noise pollution, no more synthetic fertilizers. Let us show you the many possibilities beyond conventional grass.
Gardening for bees, butterflies and birds
When a garden teems with life, it adds interest, color and movement. Creating habitat for our pollinators is an investment in our local environment. Careful plant selection can provide food all year round, give shelter using differing plant heights and attract the wildlife you want to see in your garden. The cornerstone of a diverse garden is an intelligent design.
Dry creek beds
A dry creek or riverbed is a dry waterway created by using rocks, gravel, and boulders to simulate the path that a stream or river might take if flowing through a yard. A dry riverbed can create interest in a garden, be an artistic way to divide a yard into different sections, provide a simple solution for a hard to plant area, or allow for a low maintenance 'negative or open space' area.
Fruit and vegetable production
Any size garden can produce something to eat. Plant fruits and nuts alongside your ornamentals, vegetables in between your perennials and herbs with your flowers. If you have room, let us build you a custom raised vegetable bed with sustainably harvested redwood and fill it with the right mix of organic compost and soil. Harvest year round with careful planning and enjoy your food knowing exactly where it came from.
